"Come and see! The new continent is open!" was the IM we received just as Garth was ready to log off for the night (it was 4pm but midnite for the Londoner). We flew out to see, crossing the voids was syrupy but the AVs just kept slogging on. James Miller shouted,, "Onward, to the new land!"

We finally made it to the Prim Rig in the middle of the vast Void sim. It was clunking away churning out all of the prims that we use in Second Life for our building projects.

After a brief pause we flew on to the new Continent. Here are some of the pictures I took for your enjoyment.

"Over here!" shouted Allen Park, we zipped over to see a teapot house built by Nicole Linden and some other goodies by Deana Linden. The Liasions have been busy in the new haven.

Then we stumbled on a downed plane. Garth commented "Note: Not a FairChang plane"!! Allen said "a fairchang plane would NOT have crashed". and Garth replied "the rumours of sabotage are wholey unfounded and if they were, Cubey paid me !!"

After much laughter Allen went off to find more new treasures and we flew off to see the landscape and to discover the prim pipeline.

We spotted this lovely waterfall and nearby bridge.

Then after more exploring we headed back to FairChang Island, we arrived at the Prim Rig and decided to explore below, I got a picture of Ben Linden's office and a close up of the prim machine.

We heard shouts from above and went to see what was going on, I couldn't move for all of the physical prims popping out of the demon machine. I had to twist around and alt zoom to the top deck and sit on the rail.

It was Magnum Serpentine and a plane load of vampire friends of his. After saying hello we beat a hasty retreat back to the mainland.

Sadly, being on a small computer, my pictures aren't quite as good as others ...

We went to the new continent again today, Garth rezzed a Francis Chung jetski in the inlet next to Gigi Galatea's house in Periwinkle and away we jetted! So fast that I fell off clear down to desktop.

Logging back in I was back at Gigi's and Garth came back to pick me up. This time we made it without anyone crashing. We got to Cecropia and spied an abandoned sail boat there. We stopped to inspect it and ran into Loki Pico and Charlotte Gillespie. Charlotte was charging L$50 each to bring people out to the new continent in her speed boat.. Loki laughed and said he thought he would undercut her and bring them for L$30 a pop.

We toured the waterways and then came across the first build out there. I yelled "Stop!" to Garth over the thrumming of the Chung skidoo. I hopped off and got a pic.

Later on the way back to the mainland we stopped off on the Prim Rig and ran into a group of Pirates... They claimed they weren't but I overheard them squabbling about some gold.

That was a joke. As founder of the SL Sailors, I would never charge anyone to travel with me by boat. High speed airplane transport from ANWR to Iris, now thats another matter. Ask for rates if you see me in the area. :)

My favorite is Xenon Linden's crashed airplane owned by Ben Linden in Columbia.

It even has a spinning propeller smoking in the crash.

Here is a pic I took on the railroad with my sweetie. I turned every thing up for the pic but could hardly move.
