Hello everybody. I just finished my first comic book made with photos I took in SL. It's pretty neat, kind cheesy, soapy and fun. You can download free the .pdf here: http://second-news.net/le-rendezvous.pdfAny comments or input would be appreciated. Thanks ! UPDATE 07/17•••••• Good news ! (to me at least) The comic was a HUGE sucess in Brasil, and suparsed the 4.000 downloads (between the english and portuguese version). An article about it was in a famous brazilian newspaper "Estado de São Paulo": http://render.estadao.com.br/tecnologia/not_tec15998,0.htmAND on the national SBT brazilian televion ! Yes ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYbCvm7gPSMI know you guys don't speak portuguese, but I'm so happy I thought I'd let you know. Thanks for all you guys that download the english version.

Nice job! What comicbook program are you using? I've been working on mine for about two weeks. I'm using Manga Studio.

From: Luc Swindlehurst Nice job. How long did you work on that one ? i took more than 500 photos. plus the corrections and the translation (i did a version also in portuguese), the ballons, the right font... it was intense, and i would do it all over again ! about a month.

A total hoot to read. Great attention to detail. I love the color schemes. Clothes and facial expression are all good. I love the guy wearing the white hat on page 6. First rate job. My only suggestion would be to tighten up the beginning. I think you need to get through the set-up either faster or in a more interesting way and get to the emotional punch quicker. Thanks so much for posting this.

Good cartoons. I'm thinking of doing a comic strip too when I've got a storyline worked out. I'm intending to do mine as a slide show, and the speech bubbles will be black with orange lettering to match the nametags we see in-world.

I love it. It's inspiring to me as an artist. I'd been thinking about producing some comic frames myself. Just short, maybe 6 or 8 frame strips for the web.
Make sure you post future work for us to enjoy. Brandi...xxx

I'll be sure to let you know. Might be a while because I'm busy trying to establish a good traffic flow to my blog. I tried to read your blog Patou, but it's all in Portuguese. I can't read or speak it, but I sooooo love the music of Brazil! Sometime I wish I knew what they were singing about, but sometimes that's part of the charm. Maria Rita Bebel Gilberto Trio da paz Ceu Oh, I could go on further but I'll spare you all. Brandi...xxx

By the way, when I said artist I didn't mean drawing artist...I meant someone who creates some kind of art.... lol
My comics will use photo's from SL too. I can't draw at all.

Brandi...xxx Yeah, the blog is in portuguese, I thought it would be better than start another one in english... If you love brazilian music, you have to check out this website: http://loronix.blogspot.com/It has tons of info on MPB (brazilian popular music) and is in english. You can even download some stuff that are not available to buy for years now. Some are awesome, some not so good. Have a nice day !
