While driving around the newer sims in my new 2005 Mambo Kalista, I couldn't help taking some snapshots. After a while, I realized I could make a commerical for this fine automobile. So here are some pics of me enjoying my car in various SL locales.

This was made without the knowledge or consent of Milo Bukowski, the creator of the Kalista. I will take it down if he objects. Please don't object! And mods, please don't move this to classifieds, as it is totally unofficial.

Oh Alan, thanks for sharing. Cool beans... I too, am a fan of the Mambo Kalista, and of Milo's attitude as a human being... thankfully he defies car salesmen stereotypes. :)

I think it's cool how you have like a vidblog -- ah, multimedia!

Great little vid! I adore the music you used - so perfect for a "sales" commercial... sort of a 50's/60's "happy-family" sort of lounge-tune. (Okay, I'm a musician myself and I still can't use words to describe music... *sigh*)

For every asshat, there seems to be a few really original & creative folks on SL - guess that's why I love it!

Take care,

Wow, thanks Torley, Edav and Tread for those great responses. I am glad you like it.

Torley & Edav, I hope you are right about Milo liking it.

Tread, the music is generated by the software I used to make it, Microsoft Photo Story 3. It is just an updated version of their music generator from way way back. I just picked "Latin" style and let it do its thing.

I do have a ton of the music you describe and have used it on one or two of the other videos in my blog (see link in sig.) If you are interested in it, we can talk.

Whenever I am having a bad day that "ba-ba-ba-ba" music just makes me smile!

Coolness.

For some reason, your clip brought this to mind:

I love that video clip.

"I like the cool stuff. BOOYA"

And I just bought a Mambo Kalista based solely on the power of your ad, Alan. Well, that, and the unibike I'm working on isn't exactly a passenger vehicle. :)

Gene,

That is a great video. Thanks. Of course, mine was made with only good intentions. And as the former driver of a K car, that spot really hit home!

and thank you, Chandra and faminu, I appreciate your comments.
