It comes a time when a couple realizes a normal "house" just doesn’t cut it anymore. Recently I was asked to build a home that would be one step above the rest of the custom homes out there. Naturally being the egotistical builder that I am, I agreed to the challenge. Well here's the end result. With nearly unlimited prim at my disposal and the assistance of a blueprint (yes I worked by blueprint ) we managed to produce the following home. I hope you all enjoy - and let me know what you think ** These pictures were taken before the home is to be transferred to it's new location. This home will reside in the sim of "Beauty" after Sunday May 7th. After that date you may request to see the home by contacting Salonge Clio. - Sam -- Statistics -- Prim - 1680 Build Time - 90 Days Base Price - $**,*** Square Footage - 6300sq.ft Custom Textures - Plenty ROFL Pictures - Below ** I have not photoshopped these besides reducing the size. These were taken using "Local Lighting". *Second Page Coming*

This was a heck of a build, Sam! One of the best builds I have seen yet, and it adds a lot to the sim of beauty!

Salonge's Dream a Second Life Reality
i just had to take the time out to talk about one of the best homes i have ever seen in S.L. this house was the Dream child of Salonge Clio Basset. She spent many hours looking over the net to find the perfect blueprints for her S.L. Dream home. okay after locating her blueprintsshe knew not just any S.L. Builder would do. he had to be the best. she had to find the right Builder. she then got in touch with one of the most creative person ( Sam Portocarrero ) who was one of the few people who would be able to follow the blueprints down to the last detail. So Sam went to work and used all his expertise in creating this house and i must say it is a master piece, *great work Salonge and Sam *. this is a must see feature in S.L you will not believe the awesome details and well done to scale prefectly giving this house beauty, grace and Charm. it is truely a one of a kind piece of art. well done and big ups to Salonge Clio and Sam Portocarro location: Keener @ the Clio'Basset estates

Very nice piece of work. This gives all of the builders a new standard to aim for! I have seen a house very much like that in a gated community in central Florida and it was impressive in real life, too.

That is very detailed and very well-built. You did an excellent job. Almost looks like a real house.
Unrelated opinion follows:
However, it's just the kind of house that is unappealing to me. It's a perfect example of the modern, sterile house that looks as if it was grown off the back of the garage.
I guess I'm an old fashioned kind of guy. I like homes where the garage is in the back, not visible from the street. It's where you store your cars and your junk.

Marcos, you bad guy, you're insulting my whole RL neighborhood! : D The funny thing is that my neighbors agree with you 100%. Everyone around here would prefer not to look at garage doors taking up space in a front elevation -- it's just something that often happens in the tradeoffs with the limited frontage of a cul-de-sac lot. Those of us who live on the larger lots have our garages facing the side. A few have a separate garage set back on the lot, but usually that sensible solution happens as the result of a major renovation.

Excellent job, Sam. For those who want a RL replica, this is the answer, for sure! I particularly like the sandy color of the textures and the white. I personally prefer more avian structures that have more flyinability LOL but I do appreciate that RL replication is What the People Want. From: someone I like homes where the garage is in the back, not visible from the street. It's where you store your cars and your junk. Marcos, don't you have a car park in front in Boardman?

That is just beautiful! And yes, like others have said, it reminds me of homes I've seen in gated communities in Florida.
Great job, Sam! Leilany
