LOL, I never accidentally did the box-on-head until later on. Deliberately as a parody sometimes, yes. But oh the experience is definitely one of those unique things to SL that you can talk about and somewhere down the line chuckle over it with friends. *smiles*

I just put a box on my head by accident last night

You gotta admit, dropping the box on yourself intentionally is the natural thing to do when you want to wear what it contains. It happens to everyone because it is begging to happen. On the other hand, it is counter intuitive to have to drop the box on the floor, actually making yet another copy of it, right-click to edit the box to get to the contents, drag the contents back to your inventory, and THEN drop them on yourself. All to try on something you probably don't want anyway.

Yes, it's happened to me several times, and one time I could not detach the stupid thing until I logged out.

the other day i was at a huge bingo event.. and had had enough of playing bingo so i was gunna go back home.. just before i tried TP'ing home.. i dropped a folder on me accidentally.. well it screwed up my TP.. Just at that moment someing in RL crashed.. had to go check it out.. so I figured my avvie was going to be ok.. an hour later i came back to the computer to see my poor avvie standing in the middle of the Event area where the bingo event was taking place while Buck Naked. I was so embarrassed !! LOL

I must point out that the avatar in the picture is not mine. I was on my way to Ritch and landed in Da Boom. I just could not resist taking the picture.
I started to think what had happened.

Oh, a free tuxedo, just what I need since I am on my way to a club. I better take off my old clothes and put the new ones on. Hmm, seems they do not load; ah well I just sit down here on the hub waiting for them.

i did the exact same thing on my first day!!!! oh, gosh the memories!

my first teleport, my first visit at a telehub, my first free tuxedo... i ended up with a metaphore. Oh how i laugh now!
