Hey, I didn't even know about this thread until someone pointed it out to me.

Thanks, guys! The skin is by Eddie Escher. He's selling them at a real steal, L$1000 each. They really amazed me when I first saw them, since they're really just a textured skin. It's phenomenal work and what's really amazing is when you put this machine-y skin onto your very familiar body shape. It's still you... and yet it's not.

I was pretty inspired by the skin -- it reminded me of my boyhood interest in being an android! Having seen plenty of mishaps occur with Commander Data over the years, I thought it'd be neat to take a little damage. I damaged the right arm, though, because I'm a lefty in RL.

The attachment doesn't use any fancy invisible prims, or anything, just an animation I made in Poser to fold the hand and forearm into the upper arm.

I made another attachment that's a futuristic optical/elctrical circuitboard, housed in a small access bay between my shoulder blades. If you happen to meet me in world, anyone can click the door to the access bay to open or close it.
