My 9 Day old Avi.

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I've been regularly working on my Avatar. I just wanted to share. Any constructive criticism is welcome. Hoping to break into modeling or acting in machinima. From a photographic stand point it is rough, I also have a lower end computer and never tried local lighting. It's pretty much just a polaroid snapshot. Take care and thanks for viewing.

Welcome to SL, I think your AV already looking pretty handsome. I'm sure in a week or two the look of your AV will be very good indeed.

What you can improve if you ask me is cloth! Fashion is really important that most men in SL dont really bother much about. But trust me handsome face alone is not enough you need to get some nice cloth to go with it.

Anyway I also have a low end PC. What I normally do is to turn everything up to max just before I take my photos, then change it back after. You should give it a try sometimes it make alot of different.

Yes, your av is very handsome and I also agree about the overall appearance. I just wanted to comment on the light. You can always adjust sun by forcing it in a direction that is facing you so the whole front of your body is illuminated If you don't know how to do that, just go to World tab and at the very bottom Force Light. BTW, welcome to SL.

Thank you for the tips! Ok, I will play with the lighting and see what I can do with it. i do have some clothes. Thank you for the information about the sun. I will take another picture with clothes on. I do have pants on in the picture though you can't really tell. I am no good when it comes to fashion, though. I will try. Thank you for the welcome! That skin looks like a freebie skin i refer newbies to pickup......

How much did that gear set you back (if anything)...gotta say the days when I was a noob a couple years ago, the freebie stuff was real crap, but kinda fun now to look back on.

If his skin is a freebie, i may have to start considering whether or not i got ripped off for mine. Heh.

Its a non transfer skin, but other then the little hair under the lip and a thinner under neck it oks the same

Between the hair and the wings it was a little under $600. The skin was given to me. I don't remember by who. The pants which u can barely see were affordable as well. Took about 12 hours of molding and sculpting. Oh and the local lighting isn't that much of a performance hit...I can run it decent. So, I will look for other locations. Started clothes shopping and have a friend gonna help with that. Good times.

Really? That`s an ND skin, and he doesn`t make them transferrable.....
