I wonder if anyone has suggestions about where to go to find art and museums in SL. Sometimes the search screen doesn't send you to anyplace but a freebie shop or salesroom.

Hello Sue :)

If you look in my picks you will find the Crescent Moon Museum. The exhibits there are changed bi-weekly. Also, you can go to groups and join NMC guests and go to the beautiful museum at the campus in my picks. If you look in the find button and just type in museum or gallery there are many wonderful places to see. Riverwalk is a beautiful outdoor setting with art, and there is a new museum called the Louvre opening soon.

If you want, send me an IM when I am ingame and I will show you around :)

A lot of galleries are using Sasun Steinbeck's Galleries of Second Life Kiosk, which contains a regularly updated list of landmarks to galleries participating. There's loads on there, always a standby when you fancy a bit of culture or you've run out of things to do :) You can find the kiosks at most galleries and museums.

And if you really can't, there's one for sure outside Nectaris Art *wink wink nudge nudge* :D No, really, I'm sure you'll find one. If not I can just pass you a copy of the notecard.

Hello. Perhaps you might wish to visit FD Artistry Gallery located in Creamy Dreamz. Not to toot my own horn or anything like that, but I think you may enjoy what you see there. We have a vast collection of very talented artists. This gallery was founded to bring together some of the finest original artwork to be found in Second Life and I must say we have done just that. I would be honored to have you visit and take in the sights that can be had there. If you have any questions or wish an invite to the gallery, please IM Felowen Dodge. This invitation is to all residents.

AvaUru Galleries - Divine by Design is a member of SasunSteinbeck's Galleries of Second life Kiosk and it had some wonderful ethnic and erotic art both in picture and 3d format. If you like what you see or have any questions, please feel free to contact Divine Veil, Van Horus, or Andreamonique Marx. Hope you all enjoy!
