I've been wanting to redo my store for a LONG TIME. Ask anyone who knows me well knows this. I've done a couple versions but have always ended up throwing them away. I finally got something that I can say I'm more than quite pleased with. I even did the texturing myself. I never knew I had it in me. Anyway, I wanted to show it off. It's not quite ready as I can't figure out what kind of roof (if any) to put on it. If you have any suggestions, please share!

Here is the untextured version:

Here is a closeup of the textured version:

Roof or not... A couple of months ago we had TP hubs.. then you flew into a store.. today we have TP directly and you stay in front of the door or inside the building(s)..

I think that changed how you build today... you want a build look as IRL.. (or not at al).

I put roofs on my builds...

And yes It looks nice.. !!! Congrats!

PS Dont forget to put light IN the store to.. lamps are nice and gives atmosphere. feelings.. .-)))

Oh man, I wasn't even thinking. My mind was still in pre p2p teleport mode. I'm glad you brought that up. Ha!

Okay, so roof it is. BUT, how? what? I have different heighth walls in the front (maybe the back too, I haven't gotten that far) and I'm not sure how to incoporate a roof into it. I'm a drafter for gosh shakes, this should be easy shmeasy for me *sigh*

AS roofs should be a bit out of a building (you know rain and such:-D) I always count starting with the roof or I end up in using xtra prims for making it... (sorry).

Roofs can of course be at diff heights diff forms and more.. its SL be brave and odd.

BTW TGIF!

Okay, This is what I did to make all the walls the same heigth. Maybe just a flat roof as to not take away from the detail of the rest of the structure??
