I remember meandering up the steps of Disney's Swiss Family Robinson treehouse as a kid ooohing and awwwing at the wonderful fantasy it brought to life. I've always wanted to have one like that for myself. Well, now I have it. Just finished. Both a fantasy and a wonderful home for SL living. Now available for sale at Virgin Isle Marina. Wow - fantastic work!
We have a tenant with a treehouse which I think is a Linden creation and I love that, but am looking to possibly having at least one treehouse in each of our communities - will definitly check yours out!

Excellent! I like the way you stuck the bow of the boat on the house. A wonderful touch. One observation: the wood panelling and planking in the house looks a tad too grey and 'driftwood' and could possibly do with a bit of tinting to make it look a bit more woodsy. Other than that, A-1. Maybe have several versions of that treehouse with different wood tints / textures?

I had the same dreams after seeing the movie as a kid.

Princess Ivory Yes Princess, the windows can be closed to prevent marauding pirates spying with their telescopes. And yes, the doors lock in case of an errant swashbuckler. However, the family has finished the treehouse to their liking and no more modifications can be made. |
