I had a great time and hope you and toast keep this up. I will try to attend every one I can :)

so good to brush the dust off the fingers and sketch again, even if the skills have gotten a little rusty

Wow, those all look great! Thanks Nylon and Toast for having these events. Definitely a highlight of a grim events list.

Questions...

Very interesting!
Being a toddler in SL, I knew nothing of this event.
How does it work? I presume you upload the artwork from your system.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a simple "art studio" in world, where we could have
access to simple drawing tools?
(Or is this already possible?)

It's a mix, Rmike. I worked with pencil on paper, then scanned in my image, shrunk it in Paint Shop Pro, and uploaded it. Baron worked in crayon. :)

A number of other people worked digitally in Painter or Photoshop, most using tablets I believe.

I started out in PS but with sl running it was lagging a bit too much  , so I reverted back to pencil then scanned and worked in PS using my tablet. I have used Painter but its a memory hog all by itself so not sure how well it would run with sl. All in all it was alot of fun. :p
