how to build a visual personality

Dear Friends,
I am interested in gathering a collection for my new to be bride inside SL.
I am intersted how gestures and clothes can translate my and her personality. i mean how do they translate yours? Any advise is appreciated!
How important is cutting edge design clothing and jewels to your friends? I.E. Show off your bling!!!
What are the coolest custom gestures you've seen?

I don't have pictures, but an animation overrider is a must-have if you want to change your 'visual personality.' Idle stances are a must, as body-language plays a big part in social interation. There are some good free overriders, but the animations will probabaly cost you a bit. Though that does mean you can have multiple overriders so you can load your moods (i.e. sexy, confrontational, shy, outgoing, etc.)
