I was feeling nostalgic the other night and started work on this. It's neither a perfect nor a sanctioned replica, but it dredges up fun memories from the past when I stand in it. If you want to climb into the wayback machine yourselves, you can play on it at my plot in secondlife://hookton/98/48/68

Nice one. I kind of like it. Simple, yet effective...

Wow, the memories are flooding back. Nice schtuff, Broken! Did you do this with Linden textures or did you make your own for this?

Well, I used a couple screen grabs from the stage in the northeast corner of plumb. My texturing skills aren't the greatest and I need to work on this a little. For now I'm happy enough with it to let it be.

Using that link cause me to appear on the seabottom a bit away, any idea why that would be?

Nice build, it looks better than the old one, I wonder if that is your work or that I decided to increase my screen resolution and turn on some effects since turning them off doesn't make the program work any better anyway.

I notice some of those signs nearby, sigh.

Dont guess you'd feel like building an old Ahern Morris style telehub, would you?

Heh heh, I just noticed your phrase, "Stage Faux". Hee hee.

I should have noticed that, hee hee.

It is interesting how seeing the old stage 4 makes me feel a sad wistful feeling, like seeing an old elementary school and wanting to be young and slide down the slides.

Ah! Sorry my linking skills aren't the best. Fixed that.

I doubt mine's better, I think it's probably just viewing it through the fog of memory makes it appear nicer.

I got that same eerie feeling when I built it. Same feeling I got the first time I stood in my old High School after finishing college. The bell rang and I expected all my old pals to walk out of the classrooms. They didn't and the illusion shattered.
Sort of like sitting on that stage and looking around to the signs you mentioned.

Maybe I'll get motivated & schedule a "No Host Chat" or a "Show & Tell" there sometime.

I'd love to try, but it's weird, I only seem to be able to work on things in fits. Can't seem to do it on command. Send me some pics and I'll see what happens.
