So I spun by the sandbox this morning (6:30am ish), and saw this great build there. Took some pics and decided to share with the gallery.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to name the builder (it wasn't me), because of the forum rules, so I'll err on the side of caution and leave it out. If you want to know, you can contact me. Or perhaps they'll see this post and fess up.

It's a giant clocktower, with working (swinging) bells, and the sound of the bells chiming at various intervals.

That is a great build. One I'm hoping get's introduced as a landmark piece into SL.

The filigree texturing on it's arms really caught my attention.

Miles05 Reitveld <------ Come to think of it, and I'm gonna feel like a dumbass if I'm totally off base here, I didn't actually edit/check the build. So that name is just what I saw on the tooltips (duh!).

But looking up his profile, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't him that built it.

Yes, that is correct, and it, along with the train system, is still being worked upon. Actually, I want to design and build a sim based on a lovely dream city, "the city of eternal dawn", that I saw on the 'net. It's quite romantic, I must say... Some ideas are fantasy-themed as well, such as the sun being locked into place. Here's an image to give you ideas of what it could possibly look like. Have a happy day! ^_^
