2 year SL Anniversery Party Pics....

I was only able to get a few before everyone went gray and the sim fps went down to 2. The party was due to start at 3 pm. However, from past experience, to parties like these, you need to get there early. Alot of people felt the same way...these were taken around 2:30 pm...Enjoy

heheh it was fun to drop in and see everyone... albeit a little laggy. Did anyone grab a picture of Daniel Linden (i think it was)? I was very impressed with his van gogh avatar.

I, and the Rest of the Alliance Navy, was hard pressed at the task that we assigned our selves during the party. And that was to guard the sandboxes from grifers while the lindens were busy at the party, Although we had to make due with the fact we arent feared by them, nor do we have the ability to ban or delete other people's stuff. Which means we DID infact carry about cage and push guns, luckily we only had to use them twice. mostly cause everyone was at the party. (none of us went, thats about 12 people not counting the ones in island sandbox)

That party was a death trap, once you entered the sim you cud not leave it without relog, when you relogged you'd auto end up where you was b4 entering the party sim, heh

and jim if you really wanna rid the greifers forget push, they'll keep comign back, use orbit

I have to admit, as much of a zoo the party was, it was hilarious. It was almost like Times Square on NYE, Mardi Gras, and a protest rally all rolled into one.

I was only able to snap one picture and it was with Governor Linden. She even SPOKE to me. After asking if I could take a snapshot with her she replied and I quote, "ReallyQuick...ReallyRick." It was almost like shaking hands with Bill Clinton. Well if Clinton was a women...or something.

Unfortunately since there were 150 avies around and I had 3000+ pending downloads, I only got a glimpse of her purple hair.

not miss much willow, heavy lag and having to relog to leave the si cos did not allow you out, one way border heh and when you was in the sim you'd have to hold the up arrow down for 10 seconds b4 you took one step forward

ReallyRick, I don't mean to rain on your parade but Governor Linden does not exist
It's a shared land-holding account that any Linden can use...

Just a reminder that this is a gallery thread...if you had/have problems with the party then go rant about it in the General Forum. It amazes me how negative some people are towards SL, yet they still play...EVERYDAY!.

My intentions for posting the pics were viewing enjoyment and for those who were not able to make it or for maybe something to look back on a year from now.

Yeah Governor Linden is hot!
I heard that when she first started playing she started off with a job as an escort!
She is the perfect example of how someone can make it to the top in SL if they are willing to apply themselves and work for it.

For the Daniel Linden fans...I have a pic of him in my Linden Album I've started on Snapzilla. Also, Daniel himself took a real good close-up pic of himself and sent it to snapzilla. Just look up his name under the "Everyone" drop-down list on the left hand side of the website.

Yes you were there Sadly so were alot of others that I wasn't able to fit in the pics or they were hidden behind the snapshot window which i cut out. Sorry about that. I only had a few minutes to take those pics before I was no longer able to take them of good quality. hehe

Yay!!! It was an awesome party! One that I heard lasted to the wee hours in the morning.
