I'm new to Photography in SL. I need a place to start learning. I was wondering where I could go to learn . Most of the live classes I can't take because of RL. If anybody can help me I would appreciate it if they let me know. Thanks Silena

I've been playing around a little with camera angle controls, and we might be able to compare notes. I'd be interested in learning more too. Maybe a photographer type will see this thread and set up some night class? I wouldn't mind being the model if you need one.

Need to learn

Hi April, I've been playing around with close-ups. Thanks for the offer of being a model, but nature is what I like to shot. In RL, I stink at taking people shots, I'm sure it will be the same in SL. What I realy like is to take is close-ups of nature. I also like to take photo's of animals-cats, dogs, birds etc. In people shots I can never get the angle right, people come out with all kinds of weird shadows, not at all flatering. Nature & pets on the other hand, I have much better luck with. I hope you are right about someone setting up classes. I would be greatful if someone would at least point me in the right direction. Silenta if you want to learn photography in SL just apply what you know from RL. All you have to do is how to move the camera...that I think you already know.

That part I'm learing on my own. The part I need help with is useing light. There all kinds of effects that you can use, that I have no clue how to use exp. red light filter. every time I try to use it , I get this big square of red in the picture.
