Everything I love in real life, i have in second life, it took me 3 days for the gun, which i still think is not the greatest (it'll need some more prims for other colors... its 200 something prims, i used the beta program in the scripting library)
This is also my third day in SL, i found it on some random website (ctrl alt delete web comics has an ad running)
Its all paintball stuff....
1-My mask in real life 2-My mask in SL 3-My favorite thing in the world, my DM5 4-What i have been slaving over for 3 days to get right...the DM5 in SL (i think i put the barrel on crooked) 5-My Pants in real life 6-my team jersey in real life 7- the front of my Av 8- the back of my av, notice the NXE Pack (the little circle is a jet pack)

you've only been in SL for a few days? right? and you're NOT an alt? kudos to you! you've really gotten the hang of SL! i'm always glad to see SLers who jump right into SL, get their hands dirty, and run with it like a jackal running for a rabbit. awesome work.. and yes, the barrel does look crooked. shouldn't be hard to fix up.. so far it's loking really good.

an alt? what might that be...
i heard about SL reading an internet comic, and then i decided i wanted to do something, so i put my real life in SL, i made a Paintball tank for the gun, and scripted it (i copied popgun and added my own sounds) i just need to make a hopper, all i can say is building is easier with the beta program in the scripting library (the one that allows u to model outside second life)

An alt is an alternate account from someone's main account. Frequently when somebody brand new bursts on the scene making really cool stuff, an alt is suspected. Because when brand new people make better stuff in their first few weeks than I did after a few months, it makes me feel better to imagine that they aren't really new. I see you've put the tips from the other forums to good use, those look great!

i'm assuming that modelling is not all that new to you, nor scripting for that matter. a decent grip on these two definitely makes integration into SL much easier and accessable.
glad to have yuo with us!
Welcome to SL!!

Do you get urges to create ? Do you stay focused on making one particular for hours/days and sometimes even neglect eating or sleeping as a consequence ?
