I like "Negative Curvature". It's scary but also physicsy and samuraiy. Would make a great avatar shape! (Imagines it moving, articulated...)

Negative Curvature Fractal is outstanding. Seifert's sculptures would make good demos for a series of discussions on computational geometry.
