Of course in no attempt at all to challenge other skin makers! (mine aren't that great anyway) Kudos to Eloh's and Chips templates which have helped tons! I'd love any and all suggestions/tips. I don't know what Windlight is so I didn't use it (obviously), so feel free to contact for an in-game showing. http://crypticmirage.com/SLR/chocolatekiss_f_clothed.jpghttp://crypticmirage.com/SLR/chocolatekiss_nude.jpgChocolate Kiss will likely be released next week with another makeup, etc, choices.

Don't sell yourself short. Skinning is tough work! That's an excellent start! See what you can do with the shape and the texture highlights next (especially around the face). If you don't use Windlight, don't worry too much. It doesn't influence any texturing methods. It is simply a client side environmental control for how objects and textures appear within the SL viewer. Different people will have different settings on thier clients. If you want to do skin work in a texture neutral Windlight setting for avatars, here are two that I like to use: http://www.secondskinlabs.com/Downloads/downloads3.html

Hey - Thanks! =) Will give your tips a shot soon as I've the chance, lol. So many storms around here that I haven't had my computer on since my above posting!
I knew something felt 'off' but the only response I could get from my friends was 'wow' 'sexy'.. lol.

From: Malina Chuwen ...the only response I could get from my friends was 'wow' 'sexy'.. lol. I often have to preface my asking for feedback with... "Don't be afraid to tell me exactly how you feel about it", otherwise I get the same 'Wow' response. If you are confident about your technique and the look you are after, most of the intelligent feedback will be usefull for refining the skin.
