Huh. I wear swords almost constantly, and when this happens to me (not gonna post a screenie, sorry) I end up with three swords in my bum with the handles looking like overly expensive and not particularly functional primdongs.

Ok, this has happened to me and I've bug reported it in the most entertaining manner possible. Something about needing a wax.  But like it says on the cover of the HGTTG: "Don't panic!!!!" It will all go back the way it was after relogging! If you try to adjust them then log in again, you're screwed. I've had to replace a lot of items because of this. I've noticed it most when teleporting back to my home point. I'll have to find my pictures too, since this is the gallery!
