F-86 Sabre Mini by Aleksandr Martov

So here's the story behind this: My genius scripter friend Rhombur Volos has made a script (or series of scripts, really) that uses AI to have miniature aircraft move and attack one another.

Unsatisfied with the simple flying spheres he was using, I have taken it upon myself to create some real flying fighters. After getting used to the procedures involved with some simple WWI fighters, I made this.

After about 6 solid hours of work, mostly due to the very difficult aerodynamic lines on this plane, I'm proud to present to you my version of the North American Aviation F-86 Sabre. I picked this particular craft as an adversary for the MiG-15 I've already completed (shown in the pictures, to scale).

PS: We now have the two planes dueling each other in the skies, using a (mostly functional) AI script where then hunt and engage each other. It's really lots of fun watching them shoot each other down.

Nice work! The F-86 should be able to win most of these engagements, although the MiG can climb faster.

Well now, from what i've read, the two aircraft were pretty evenly matched, although the pilots weren't.
