Ok, for everyone who doesn't get it...

Neverland was a Very Cool attraction that was run last year by the Spellbound group and sponsored by the Lindens. (the other half of it, Olde London, is missing from that picture). It was a recration of the scenes and places in the Peter Pan story. (Several months before, before I was in SL, Spellbound also did themed sims based on the Wizard of Oz). The sims were taken offline after a set time period. Amazingly, it seems that the islands, while offline, are still on the grid, and it opens up the possability (physicaly at least, even if no one would do it) of the sims being re-opened at some later date.

I don't have any pictures, but you can search New World Notes for Hamlet's story.

It also makes one wonder what other burried treasures from the past might be viewable with the new map.

I'm just wondering who came to this thread, hadn't been around for the opening of Neverland, and quickly did a search through the SL Forums archives to find out more. :)

Elle's post gives the good points, but I am just so very curious.

While I've never seen these places myself, due to my newness and all, I was aware of what was once Neverland.

Yes. And I mean that seriously, that was a wonderful memory. Except for getting run over. But the shine in your eyes said it all.
