While Luskwood (Makers of fine furry avatars) makes cool looking bat avatars, the "flying fox" look just isn't my thing. I'm more into the more realistic look. You know, the cute blunt snouts and the big radar-dish ears. So I decided to make my own batty avvy. And, wow, am I surprised by the response. People love it!

And judging from peoples' responses, I decided to make more types of batty avs and sell them, as soon as I manage to make a decent pair of wings. In the meantime, for my own personal use, I use Luskwood wings with the avs. Anyways, here's a work-in-progress vampire batty I've been working on.

And a closer view of the head...

And soon I'll be making a pallid bat av at my friend Kodi Wishbringer's request.

Heh thanks. My only hurtle right now is making a decent pair of wings to sell along with the head and skin. I suck at that. >_<

Oh, and I know people have been trying to do this forever now, but if someone can develop a way to make decent looking wings that are part of the arms (rather than them being separate limbs sprouting out the back) that are scripted to spread when flying and fold when on foot, I will negociate a cut of the profits from the avatar sales if you allow me to include them as part of the avatars for sale.

Hehehe. The skull hat is my favorite creation. And the most popular. I should start selling it eventually, instead of just handing it out. ^_^

BTW, more pics. Whinge Languish made a batty av with some really nifty arm-wings. I bought the av from him and ganked the wings for my own av.
