Iron Perth's Arabian castle

Only behind massive walls one is really save in the desert

Make sure you have enough water with you when you take the long journey to cross A'ksha. The small river in the canyon is one place to refill your flasks

Down the canyon valley we find the A'ksha oasis. Gwendolyn has one little hut there

We visit Gina Fatale's estate in the oasis

The 4 A'ksha sims are zoned with Arabian theme. Land owners build their own dreams but within theme and according to some basic building rules.

I really do need to go visit

It is late. We decide to enjoy the night in the desert here, watching the sunset and the stars above the oasis

Maxe's and Jai's Rainbow Oasis is not far, just on the other side of the oasis lake

Here is where you can find true beauty

In old Egypt cats were worshipped like Gods. So one tiger cat feels very much at home here

We cross the lake again and visit Sun Engel's Dissidence Isle by Kavai Onizuka

It is fun to take screenshots here. Because everywhere you look it is nice. You need not play tricks like on mainland to avoid those ugly flying shoe boxes in the background ruin your photo

Next we are going to visit Britsurfer's palace that you can see in the background

When walking through this palace I truly feel pity for Magellan Linden....

So now I will stop here, need go back to work. Maybe later I will post some pictures of the caves or the floating city construction. Or you just come take look yourself

Yes, it's really nice there

I know everyone will probably think I'm biased because Anshe showed a picture of my castle, but living in the Anshe Dunes is the best experience I've had in SL so far.

- Low lag
- Ultimate terraformability (I have a huge cavern underneath my castle)
- Full parcel access (media url, ban lists, etc)
- All of our neigbhours have very excellent taste
- Super deal on the week by week rent, can just use my shop proceeds to pay for tier (ie: don't have to transfer into gom -> into paypal -> into my bank -> pay LindenLabs)
- The list goes on.

The downside is that you are renting from Anshe and not from LindenLabs, so if she goes away then you may lose your property. However, Anshe has been around for a long time and is SL's biggest customer, so if you can't bank on her I don't think you can really bank on SL sticking around.
