Hello all. : ) I was hoping for an honest review of my photography. I've never been in the SL forums, I've always stayed in SLX's forums, and was delighted to find there was a Gallery here. Upon seeing someone else's request for reviews, I was hoping to get the same. I don't believe in the glitz and glamor of high graphic doctoring. Most times the only elements in my photos that are changed are lighting, size, and an occasional hazy frame. Though, in the case of these photos the only lighting changed is in the wedding shot recently taken and that was a shadow cast on the skin to give a more lifelike appearance. Most lighting work is done on my nudes which photobucket doesn't apprecaite, LOL. Please let me know what you think, and thank you for your time. ~Royanna

Hey Royanna *waves*
I love the wedding shot. My fav by far is still the thigh pic. Its just such a powerful and sexy picture.
Good luck with your studio opening!

Good for you for asking for real feedback.
I would suggest that you use more foreground lighting. You have interesting composition and storylines but you really have to work on adding lighting to add focus.
The lighting would focus the viewers eye on what you first want to emphasize, then the eye wanders (usually from the right corner btw...a trick professional painters know) to appreciated the composition.

I don't know how you feel about it, but a little post processing, such as blurring the background to create depth of field or adding a highlight or two can do wonders if you keep it subtle. I don't feel particularly conflicted about it (for non-commercial shots) as all of SL is pixels, after all!
