I've just installed DAZ/Studio 1.5 taking advantage of the BVH exporter plugin to explore using this instead of Qavamator. Any way, I can't seem to find the Timeline window that is referenced in the tutorials. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Go to View Tabs and you will see time line then just click on it and bingo there it is
