I would really like to take full control of my character in SL and I beleive having much used gestures, poses and animations available on a HUD is the way forward. I find these details are what really brings characters to life.
Can anyone recommend a good HUD for me to buy/ get in order to do this?
Is this the best way to handle these aspects? Can anyone recommend something better?
If this is the wrong place to post this kind of querey I apologise and will delete/ move it somewhere else.

The HUDDLES Hud works pretty well for that.. Though its built in "Gesture" is kinda lame.. I'd have it call gestures you made instead..

I have two HUDs designed to help you make the most of your animations: EZ Animator Deluxe and the EZ Animator BasicBoth HUDs allow you to play any pose, dance or animation. Both HUDs allow you to have up to 10 people dancing with you. They are very similar in layout and features, but there are two main differences. First the Basic is not copiable. Second, any features that depend on you editing a notecard are not available on the Basic. The idea was that the Basic version would be for someone who only wants to drop a bunch of animations into the HUD and start using them without messing with notecards at all. You can use the Deluxe the same way, just drop animations in and start using them, but you can also do a lot of other things. - It includes an Animation Override script so that you don't need a separate device.
- You can create lists of animations on notecards to categorize them. For instance, one notecard for all your dances, another for your modeling poses, another for sex animations, etc.
- You can create animation macros with sounds, emotes, shouts, timed pauses etc. I plan on expanding this macro language in the near future to make it even more powerful.
- Since it's copy/no transfer, you will recieve automatic updates on the Deluxe when available.
Two notes: - There is no current way for a script to play a gesture, so you can't play them from a HUD. The only way to use a gesture is the conventional way. Although, by creating a macro with the deluxe, you can do anything you could with a normal gesture.
- I'm not sure what the other poster is referring to about my gestures. I think an older model came with a list of "gestures" built in. These were simply a list of built in SL animations. An example to get you started and demonstrate the product.
