ok the problem:

i have created an object (body burner lmao) and it has a door on the front which i put the free script "sliding door" inside the door and it works fine .. also a bodytray that come out with a pose ball on it and the same script in it.. they work fine but if i want to sell the item in my small shop i have to link the objects.. when i link the door to the burner.. and clik the door. the whole thing moves left and right across the room instead of just the door.

Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks shaggy.. :)

Is the door a child prim? If not, make it so then try again. My sliding door scripts require them to be in a child prim.

When you link prims the last prim selected becomes the root prim. You can see it when you edit your multi-prim object. It is the prim with a yellow outline. All other prims with a blue outline are child-prims. Max wants you to try making sure your door is a child-prim. You can try unlinking all of them ctrl-shift-L and then when you reselect the prims to link make sure the sliding door is NOT the last prim you click. Then link them with ctrl-L. I don't know if that will fix it. Depends on how that script was written.
