How Do I make tentacles with animations like floating in water

I am trying to make a Tentacle Demon Avatar but I am confused on how to make the tentacles flexi, and if there is some way i can set the flexible path so it makes the tentacle to appear to have individual movement from the other parts. I am going to be linking several tentacles together but not sure if there is an animation that i should put into each piece like a flicker n where to get it.

Not sure if this is the right place to post, i will in other subjects, all help greatly appriciated.

I guess you will get better answers on the scripting and building forums - but I think you might want to investigate animating the textures.

Try looking up puppeteer in-world. It's a prim animator that is somewhat easy to use. You can animate prim tentacles. If this is an avatar and you are attaching tentacles to yourself... like to your arm... i guess you could just make a custom AO to move your arm tentacles how you want.

I have spent several hours just in attaching the tentacles together and made them flexi, tried to see how it would look, they look great, have some more work to do with positioning them correctly on the body, however am still going to work further on animating them, if i have to unlink them to get the effect it will be worth it. I am taking alot of pride in my work and am happy so far with the result and the individuality I am making for myself in sl
