What the 2nd place winner is doing with her prize

As you all know at this point, more than likely, the 2nd place prize in the New Moves contest is a custom avatar created by Eric Linden. I have honestly thought it over many times and just can't think of anything I like or want. I like the avatar I have and I'm really not a person that has interest in different avatars. When I heard the first place winner was being allowed to change her prize to something else I was struck with another thought. I was going to ask that my prize also be changed but another idea was thrown out to me by a friend. I really have no dire *need* for the money, though it would be nice, and the prize just doesn't fit for me. I contacted LL about this and have been give the *ok*. I'll be donating my prize to the VERTU auction, so if any of you are interested in such a thing you can have the opportunity to buy it. I will then contact LL with the highest bidder's name and they will then work with that person and Eric. I hope that this will bring a nice amount for VERTU as I am sure Eric does excellent work.

Well, the first-place prize is worth approximately L$100,000 and the third-place prize is worth L$10,000. Thus, I will start the bidding at L$10,000 with the hope it will climb higher.

By the way, this is a great idea Gwinivere!

I'd love to see your animation, too. Will you release it publicly?

I'm actually wondering how to go about doing this with my prize. It was supposed to be used at the last auction but feared it wouldn't do well because of the turn out. I'd really like to bring as much as possible for VERTU.

LOL okay okay, the reaon i don't put the video up is because the video itsself (I hope my sister forgives me) is crap lol. It was a last minute thing really. My sister had come back home for a bit and was on the pc all the time. I didn't have a chance to really go any further with my ideas so I just gave up on it. I didn't know how I was even going to video it or anything. My sister decided that it wasn't fair for me to not have anything in the contest. She tried hard, poor thing to do *something* at least to show the animatoins but she had never done video before lol. Our friends tried to help by being in it and they were all stressed out lol. It was kind of a last minute mess. I guess we were hoping that the animations themselves would be judged and not the vidoe but DER presentation is a big part of anything. Not to mention I had seen your progress and knew I didn't have a chance lol. So I love my sister for trying, but we both agreed it's not something we'd want to put up to be shown LOL.

Well, I think you're selling yourself short. I saw your great animations yesterday, demonstrated by you and your friends no less, and I thought they were great! I was also very impressed by the quality of your stores. I think your animation would be better received than you think.
