I've uploaded an animation, in the upload window it didn't work until I selected walk from the drop down list.
But how do I make this walk menu in world? cause when I play it, it just shows like it did when none were selected?

neee thats not how to tackle that when you uplaod you need to set the loop-points for the animation you made A walk would have no ease-in /out, so you need to make it all one loop The trickery stuff here is to make it smoth with no jerking of limbs.. Read the stickeys on priorities and ease in/out and the all important loop-point and '1 dg T-stance alterations'. ..Then, in the usage it will either be a socalled AO aniamtion-override == an object that your avatar wears, or you have the animation inside a poseball with a script

when I create a walk I make a 1 second long loop... the last frame is the same as the first frame
before I upload I copy/paste the second to last frame into itself, and delete the last frame so that there is no pause
when I upload, I check the "loop" box and use 0 100....
set the ease in/out to .5
and then priority4....
you'll need an animation override to replace your walk.... if you don;t have a free one IM me and I will drop you one

Ok I think I need to re type the problem
I've made an animation in Poser 8
It's a walk animation and when I hit upload
It looks really weird, until I selected from the drop down list, "Preview While Walking"
Then it's perfect, but I can't get this "while walking" in world, the AOs don't seem to do it even when inserted into their walk.
Is there something in LSL to say, do with walk?

...what does it look like if you choose "while standing" ?? Mine always look the same either way......
Oh!!! try bumping the priority to 4 on your anim and see if it still overrides in the preview window... when I had priority set to "2" (which is where it goes automatically when the window pops up) - the default duckwalk overrode the walk I had created....
also... If you haven't programmed every joint, you may be seeing the default walk plus the few joints you have changed at priority 4....
Another thought: Have you left the first frame as all zeroes and started the animation on the second frame?
