Use basic sit for every sitting pose

Hello, tried the scipting forums, but got no results. Trying to make a simple pose ball to use the free meditation pose. When I sit on it, it looks like I go into the correct pose for a split second, then switch to the basic sitting pose. I use no animation overriders or any other type of animator. After banging my head against the desk for hours, I gave the ball to 2 other people. Naturally, they were able to use it with no problem, in the proper pose. Then I strolled around, sitting on vendor's mats, cushions, etc. Not only can I not meditate, but I also can't go into a kneel pose. Has anyone else ever encountered a problem like this? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Did you restart SL and try again? I've had a similar experience but rebooting fixed it.

Yes, I've been trying for days, off and on. Can't use my pose balls, can't use other's balls, but anyone else can. Was just so frustrating before I found out the problem must have something to do with me. but for the life of me, I can't figure out what it is. No Ao overriders of any kind. Just a regular male shape and skin. lol, though I bet even some kind of giant robot would be able to sit on my balls. That sounded kind of kinky, but you know what I mean

It sounds like you may have on an item that has an AO built in, remove all prim clothing and attachemnts and try the pose balls.
Some clothing has AOs built in without telling you.

That did it. I got completely naked and started adding clothes and attachments one by one. Dance chim had no effect, walk/pose anim had no effect. It was a stupid pair of freebie sunglasses. Those Matrix ones included in so many freebie packs. Sheesh. I'm just going to make my own sunglasses. Well, thanks for the advice. I was going crazy here, wondering if something was soo bugged about me that I might have to recreate myself.

Interesting. For some reason, there was a script in there called "old version sit". As far as I could tell, it had nothing to do with the script that changes the tint of the lenses, so I deleted it. Now they still have their tinting functionality and they allow me to meditate. I'm at peace. Ommm...
