More details needed.

When do you get this message?
Does the animation preview run at all?
Did you use the SL avatar to create your animation?
Is frame 1 set to the default T-pose?

I get this message when I insert the animation (10lindens) and the following message is this error, so I don't pay the 10lindns.

Yes, the animation preview runs well.

I use the SL avatar. First I create the animation in 3ds max, next I export *.fbx. I use the MotionBuilder to convert fbx to *.bvh with the SL avatar. Finally, I try to insert the animation but....

No, the first frame is not in T position, it's necessary?

Thanks!

Frame 1 is used in SL as a reference frame and it will not show in the resulting animation.

It is simplest to use a T -pose with zero rotation on all the joints in Frame 1, although not strictly necessary. If the preview runs ok, then I should think the bvh format is being recognised ok. What is the exact error message? Does it say anything about the asset file being too large? If so, then there must be some corruption because 5 seconds should not be very big. I would go back to 3ds Max and save and export again.

thanks! I will try the T-podition with the first frame.

Do you know how long could be the animation? Is there a limit? like 30secs..

Maximum length is 30 seconds and there is also a maximum size of 60kb for the asset file.

Thanks, 5sec long animations works!

I will open a new threat but first I try here, let's see...

I have to charge a 35sec long animation... First I have accelerated the animation a little bit and now the animation is 30sec long... A lamentable solution, yes...I know! :D

So now, the duration restriction is solutionated. Good,

Then, I convert the animation from *.max to *.fbx. And then, with the MotionBuilder, from *.fbx to *.bvh, because I have understood that is the unique format that SL accepts(is it OK?).

The following problem...the file size is about 400kb! So I change the 30fps to 24fps...but it's 300kb...and the maximum size is 60kb.

What do you do with long animations? How can I reach 60kb? I am looking for filters, different formats or change the MotionBuilder to other converter

Alexandre, don't try to make your BVH file only 60 kb... that limit is for the asset file that sits on the SL servers, it is a different format entirely and is optimized as part of the upload process. 300-400 kb is not uncommon at all for a BVH file ready to be uploaded.
