ok heres the deal, I hate the default anim for smoking, so alterd it to where the av is standing instead of leaning against a non exsitant counter top, problem i'm having is when I load the anim in game the hand doesnt even come close to the mouth, its about a foot away. So I tried to move it closer to the face, still didnt look right, then i put the hand in the face and it looked perfect, only problem is when someone else uses the anim, their hand goes through their head, but not on me. any suggestions?

It is not the trouble of Avimator but a notorious issue of the SL aniamation.
What about creating two types of the animation or more if necessary for other avatars?

well i did find out what the problem was, for some reason an animation that works for a femal av, wont work on a male av, had to make 2 anims, one for female, and 1 for male, the male one i had to put the hand in the head to get it in front of his mouth.

It has something to do with the shape of each avatar, such as shoulder width, arm length, and so on. Mostely it will go fine by a distinction between male and female as you said.

actually it may just be me, but I tried the animations on 10 diff male av's each with differnt height, shoulder and arm length combo's and they looked fine on them, try same said anim on a female av, and it's off, and vise versa.

EXAMPLE:
Made a new smoking animation, where the hand comes close to the face, when I load the animation, and use on a male av, the had is a foot away from the face, try same anim on a female av, it looks fine. So make a new animation, and over correct, putting the hand in the head partways, upload and it looks fine on the male, but the hand is inside the face when used on a female av.

what Iv'e noticed is when you make an animation, it is dead on with the female av, when you make one and try to use it with a male av, its off, so have to make anew anim and over correct to get same desired effect. Yes i double checked to see if I was using the correct manaquin when creating teh animation, that didnt seem to have any apparent effect. anyone else noticed this?
