Are there any animations that involve more than one Sim?

I am a newbie to SL obviously but hopefully someone can clarify this.
Are there any animations which involve more than one AV? Like if you want to hug someone you greet. How would you implement that? Would both characters have to have the script loaded somehow for them to interact with each other?
Does something like already exist cause I don't see anything like that in my AV?
A kissing animation would be good also.

Also, let's say you want to have two AVs dance with each other hand in hand (or slow dancing if you want to call it that). How could you do that so that their animations matched up?

Ah! Your use of the word "sim" in this context probably confused a few people. In Second Life, "sim" means "simulator" which is another name for "region" as a lot of Linden documents refer to them. These are the bocks of land you see on the world map. Each is a different computer.
Avatar, yes, is the word you want. Or "AV" in the vernacular.
There are a few animations that people have scripted to bring folks together. One of the more popular free-standing ones is a hug. You will be asked if the hug may animate you. If you agree, the hugger is moved into position by a script, and both avatars are animated into the hug. Works pretty well in most cases.
Others have made static animation sets where each avatar is basically sitting on a target, and the targets are in the proper position (or move to it) for the animations to mesh.
So far, it is not possible to make animations that stay in bodily contact while the avatars are moving freely.

*nod* A hug script has already been made, and only one av needs to have the script, it just asks the other person for permission to animate them. As for a kissing anim, due to the wide difference in body sizes its almost impossible to make it right on everytime. I've scripted a kiss anim to adjust the height of one of the avs, but shorter people end up floating off the ground and still its not always right on.

LOL... Yes, have to unlearn all the bad habits I picked up from EA re: referring to characters as Sims. Oh well. OK, so now where would one find copies of these interactions? I assume there are people more than happy to sell them to me. Anybody have a favorite vendor? Oh and do BOTH AVs have to have the script for it work between them or can you use it with anybody you encounter?

I have an animation store, Sensual Animators in Le Cadre, the build closest to the telehub... although I do not have the hug attachment, I have a variety of animations. Check it out when you get some time.

I have a waltz and slow dance that totally animates both avs.. do a search for 'lil rebel' - thats the outlet stores I've got them in.
side note : my hug-0-tron also has a kiss built into it thats pretty close.

Siggy's waltz machine is amazing! You might have to fiddle around with the relative sizes of the av's, but once you've done that it's absolutely brilliant!
Now all I need is to find a shoutcast station that streams 24/7 Strauss....

The hug animation someone gave me, I am the only one that needs it. When wearing it, I face and type the name of the person I want to hug. They get a message that allows them to accept or decline.

Hi, I thought I would just pass on, that it's not interlay impossible to do co-avitar animations, and be able to move. I have a set of scripts that work together to keep one person in relative positions to another person.
Unfortunately it requires the animator to manipulate the position of one of the animations, other wise the avatars will just keep bumping into each other.
If any one is interested in experimenting with the script. please let me know.
