Hiya

I'm trying to create a slow walk (similar to a bride walking down the isle)

I know I need to create a walk path to do part of it, Was wondering if anyone had a tutorial or could explain the best way to go about it?

Thanks
Nat

By a walk path, do you mean some route that the walk should follow?

If the avatar is wearing an attachment, and the attachment moves, that av will move along with.

I think your options are llMoveToTarget(), llSetPos(), or having an object give little shoves to your av to make it go the right direction.

A series of llMove's would maybe be best.

I've not tried my hand at animating for SL yet, but I'd guess that as long as the root joint (the hips I think) moves then the path should stick when you import it. Some animation programs have a tool for creating walks down paths or where you position markers for the avatar's feet to land on.

Hiya's

Ok im using poser 6, it gives you the option to create a walk path, how you make that walk path determines howfast or slow your walk will be.

I just need to know how i get it to go slower, Where I position the little nodes ect

go to key frame screen and change the rate
use the tool to create walk in Poser and you should walk slower...
