Iv'e just started using this program and its really simple and so far been good
expect im trying to make a straight legged and straight armed anim, it looks perfect in
AvMotion but when i preveiw it in the upload sction the arms are not straight, and if i upload it and use it in SL the arms get all messed up.

anyone got any ideas on this please ?

Make sure that you keep the first frame of the animation intact (i.e. the default pose). Watch the priority setting while uploading. If you want your animation to override all other limb positions, you should set the priority to 4.

Hope this helps!

hi Zi :)

i have been doing those steps and i still get the same problem,
arms do not stay straight even in th epreveiw when uploading them they look wrong.

and in SL they are even worse, seems to be a problem in AvMotion not in SL

If you don't care that your AV's whole body is completely locked, try to create it in just 1 frame. And don't forget to set priority at 4 on the uploading window.
On the uploading window, it plays a built-in animation, "stand". You have to let your animation override it.

Hey, one frame is just one frame... :D So you can't do at 1st and 2nd... If you have 2nd frame, it must be 2 frames animation!

ok ok :P

you have to leave the first frame unaltered or SL wont load the anim
so i class the 2nd frame as the first :P

It should also work well if you move them even 1 degree. But the 1 frame animation is easier for you to do that. Please read "3. Keyframe", "4. The first frame", and "8. Priority" on Animation guide.
