Beds and animation

I have used a number of beds that have various positions for couples in intimate positions. They generally do a good job of hip placement and all. Having a particular fondness for the upper front portion of the female torso, I have noted that bed animations generally do not include positioning of the hands and arms to fondle when the opportunity is available. I understand that the bed controls the animations but I also understand that animations have a hierarchy and the most recently activated will control when two of the same rank are employed. Does there exist a way to position the arms and hands for fondling and have the rest of the body remain under control of the bed? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's possible. If you create an animation that uses only the arms and set it to a high enough priority (probably 4) you can override the arm portion of the bed poses. From there you could either just play the animation from your inventory while you are on the bed or possibly you can try to add the animation into the poseball.

One of the reasons that you may not see many animations that feature fondling female breasts is that it is hard to account for variable breast/size shape between avatars. If you want to create a custom fondle to use in conjunction with that particular bed and one particular partner (assuming your one partner does not routinely change her avatar shape in the chest area), that might not be too hard. If you want to be prepared for female avatars with different chest sizes, you might be in for a bit of a task. If you're not happy with using text chat to express the movement of your hands when your animation is not specificaly associating it, you probbaly won't be happy with a hand that disappears inside a chest as if you were a witch doctor ripping out a heart, or a hand that hovers high over the chest and never comes within 0.5 meters of making contact.
