When I'm making animation in poser 4. Some times second life is able to import the animation, but most of the time it fails to recognize the bhv file. So nothing shows up in the preview, and I can't click the import button. I'm wondering what I am doing wrong.
This is what I do. Launch poser, load an h2 low default guy, I engorge the options to keep geometry, size, extra. Then I pose the figure. Make sure there is a key frame past the first frame. Save the file, export as .bvh. And then try to import with sl.

Dose any one have an idea what I'm doing wrong? Am I missing a step, or is there a cretin thing I have to do with the key frames. that I have not done?

Make sure there are no keyframes for fingers, toes, eyes, buttocks, or genitals. If there are, delete them and then export your .bvh

with poser 4 you have to upgrade it to 4.0.3 or something like that. I have that upgrade on my home computer, and it worked fine. Forgot to do it on my laptop and damn near drove myself batty trying to figure out why my animations would not work when made on my laptop. You can get the updatehere.

I just jumped into Poser (using 4.0.3), I didn't read any tutorials so I don't know if you're doing this already.... I find when I DON'T select the "automatically scale" option when exporting, SL doesn't recognize my poses/anims. So far for me that's been the culprit ever time.
