Rased poses don't rase name/group bubble

I've been playing with poses for making wearable vehicles. The pose raises the character up an works fine. However my head is now covered by my name/group bubble. Is there a way of raising the bubble too?

Thanks
S

The tag position is based on where SL "sees" the actual position of the avatar. The avatar root can be considered the scene origin point in whatever application you are animating with. Adjusting position by animating the avatar moving away from the scene root in your animation software translates over as the mesh moving from the avatar's actual position in SL. It won't affect the tag because it doesn't affect where your avatar actually is as far as the engine is concerned.

This means to fix your problem you will need to move the actual root of the avatar by moving the pose target instead of animating a mesh offset.

Can this be done with an attachment instead of rezzing an object & sitting?

Just an idea - would it be possible to put the pose in a transparent prim (very small) which is attached to wearable vehicle in a position which solves your problem? The prim would not be visible, but the avatar would position itself relative to the prim with the pose in it?

Not sure if this idea could be developed into a workable system - not having a sit target to adjust makes it difficult to get the avatar positioned relative to the vehicle in your case.

...another thought

you obviously must attach the vehicle to the avatar at some attachment point - just like you attach prim clothes when they are "worn". Varying the attachment point and the main link prim is something else you could try. But please...I wouldn't want to "drive" your vehicle if my hair or skirt detatched when I wore it!
