Annoying little problem... when I turn off my AO (Reverie Ultimate), I no longer have my original "basic" walk from when I started in SL. Instead, I have an extremely jerky "tottering" movement that looks ridiculous... I have modified my AO but that shouldn't have made a difference, unless I "broke" something back when I first played with my original AO (Wet Ikon).
Any ideas?

the extremely jerky "tottering" movement that looks ridiculous, *is* the base female walk. Linden Labs likes to make newbs look like... newbs. If you had a better walk at the beginning, you must have had an AO somewhere. Sometimes they are in the shoes.

I bet you had a previous walk AO built into a piece of clothing. Try wearing your old shoes and walking around.

Something else to consider, is heights. I spend a lot of time in a skybox. When I TP into it, I am always knobkneed and the walk at that point looks odd. Ikeep thinking they will have fixed that but still no. I just sit on somethgin and stand up and it fixes it. But I notice that not all people coming into my SB look like that, and they tend to be usign AOs. So maybe you can try sittign down and standign up to see if it fixes it.
Of course, it's probably the shoes...
