Greetings everyone!

I just got Poser 7 for my Mac OS X Macbook Pro, and I love the program, but sometimes when I try to import a Poser 7 generated .bvh file I get one of the following errors in the Second Life imprt dialogue box:

Failed to initialize motion.

Can't get rotation order.

Any help you could offer would be super-duper appreciated!

Thx
Eva

PS
(No it's not the 1st frame needing to be in the "T-Position", I got that sorted. The error seems to show up without my changing any settings as well, just sometimes after doing some animation changes and then exporting I get the error.)

UPDATE: Ah okay, I was using the default Poser figure, Kate. Thanks :) We'll see if that works better.

UPDATE #2: Bleh, another noob question - wtf if up with all this contorting between keyframes? I set one pose, then another, and between suddenly all the limbs are spinning around and the neck dips back into the ground and back up. I've checked my graph, it's no crazy ramping of the animation speed. Any help?

Are you using the SL avatar or the default figure for Poser?

I was having the same problem and after a lil' searching around I found a solution (dunno if there is a better one, but this one works).

Click 'Window' and then 'Animation palette'. After that I selected everything and made it a 'linear section'. After that I click on 'break spline.' That seemed to fix everything and the animation runs smoothly. Hope this helps.

Yep, that solved it. Breaking the splines and/or creating constant sections resolved the issue.

Thanks man!
