I don't really know if this goes here or not. Anyway, I made myself a really cool onion-ring object, but when I try to wear it, I look like an idiot with an onion ring around his neck. How do I make my normal avatar disapear, and how do I configure the onion ring to be animated in poser propperly?

You can't get rid of the base avatar. Ever.

You can, to some degree, work around it with animation overrides squishing it up and hiding it in prims... but it's still there.

If you want to animate a prim object you need to do it with scripting... although I'm trying to imagine how an onion ring animates.

Well, you can't get -rid- of the base avatar... you can use an animation to effect something similar either by making your base avatar sit 15 feet below you (which can look funny when in high rises or flying) or as said above, by squishing your base avatar into an incredibly tiny pose.

The invisiprims annoy me because when I used them, they hid me, but they also hid things like water and trees :P

I could hide it in the onion ring's eyeball, if I could scrunch my base avatar into the size of a baseball, maybe :P. Today I saw a completly flat mario sprite avatar, and in order to do that, the base avatar must have been like, scaled down to be almost 2d. Can I scale the avatar, or is my only option putting it into a weird scrunched up pose?

Ah, upon closer inspection, it seems there's a pose ball in the avatar that keeps my base avatar underground no matter how high in the air I fly :P I shall make use of that. Thanks for your help!
