Hi,
A local used bookstore that also sells used software has a copy of Poser 5 for $25.
Would this be a reasonable choice for someone wanting to create SL animations?

lee Thanks. One thing I should have been more clear about, I'm mostly concerned that it might be too old of a version to be truly useful. I did look around a bit and see that others are using older versions, but I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be some serious limitation with version 5. I also see that the vendor's current version is Poser 7, which lists for $250. Lastly, I was also interested in any feedback on whether this was a good or a bad deal. The software does include the original box and manuals. RS

I run p5.
p4 propack is just fine for doing SL stuff, so is P5.
a lot of the features in p6 and 7 are not compatible with SL's rendering technology as it is. It's not like your using the top of the line poser models for SL as it is.
