How can I add animations to one I already created, and loop the whole series? Is it strictly a script I have to have or what?

what I'd like to do is have 3 or 4 sequences in the poseball, daisy chain them in different orders, and loop the whole thing so that I get what looks like a five minute overall animation :)

Uber Rosca gave me a cycling/sequencing script...recommend you see him if you want to add extra anims to a poseball :)

You could consider putting them in a Gesture - provided you have full permissions on the animations. I think the limtation here is a maximum of 15 command lines in the Gesture - so if you have to start and stop each animation that means you could chain 7 animations. If the animations are not looped so you only needed to start them, then you could, theoretically, chain up to 15.
