Curious Labs sent out an odd kind of teaser email today announcing the upcoming Poser 6 release, with an expected date for Win and MacOS of March 21st. Full details of the release are supposed to be available March 10th. There was no mention at all really of new features related to animation, so time will tell if it will be worth the upgrade.

I was looking at that too. Unless they improve things like the autobalance or add in something like a symmetry morph I wouldn't personally see a reason to part with my Poser 4 Artist. I am anxious to see some details though!

If you use it just for SL, I wouldn't part with it either since the SL avater is basically a Poser 2 figure. Unless they make it easier to use or make it more universal, there isn't much point. Like using a Humvee for a golf cart. Be interested it what changes have been made tho, since I use it outside SL all the time.

Glad to hear you all say this--now I know I might as well stick with Poser 4, and I'll save my program budget for something more useful.
