Hi to all
I am having a problem with the latest version of Sl,
ever since i have done the update, any Avatar that is more than 4m away from me
disappear and they start to turn into all different types of objects,
Their group name,or name if they have one remains on top of there head,but the actual body disappears and turns into different object's.
buildings are all good weather they are close of distant,
does any one out there have a solution.

I think you are in the wrong forum Smig - this one is for animation - you would stand more change of finding someone to helpif you posted in the forum for problems with the current viewer (assuming you are using the current viewer).
It would help if you could post a picture of the problem and give details of your PC, including the graphics card, and the SL client software you are using. Clieck Help/About SL in the client and cut and paste the details from there into your forum post.

Wow that is weird! I'd love to see a screenshot of that happening. It could be a graphics problem. Make sure you aren't wearing anything like an invisiprim. It doesn't make people turn into objects though. Try the usual. Go into preferences->network->clear cache and restart.

Turn off Avatar Impostors. That fixed it for me.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and that has helped.. for now..
and yes Bree.. ppl were pictures of textures, eyeballs and even big strands of my hair..lol.. will contact you in game and show you a pic..lol
