Hi I am a relatively new animator using Poser 5. I am working on a set of animations that require that each one have a common start/end point. Ie either identical start points or the end of 1 animation has to be exactly the same as the beginning of another. I have been all over the Poser documentation and am beating my head on hte wall at this point.

Is there a way to copy one entire frame from one animation and paste it into a new animation?

I assume you have no reason to save anything other than the avatar pose.

Save poses to your pose library. Click on the library that (by default) is on the right-hand side of the screen. Open up the Poses library. Do a right-click somewhere inside the Pose library, and you'll get an option to create a new folder, so create one for your Second Life poses.

When you have your folder set up, make sure you have the avatar figure as the current figure selected, then click on that little '+' (Add to Library) button to add the current figure's pose to the library.

When you want to use that pose again, just select your avatar figure, highlight the appropriate pose, and click the little single-check button (Apply original pose).

You'll notice when you go through the process of saving a pose, that one of the options you'll have is to save a single frame, or set of frames. So if you have animation sequences you may want to re-use, you can save them to the Pose Library as well.

One word. Pose dots.

Wait, that's two words.

OK, two words. Pose dots.

Thanks so much to both of you!

Those suggestions are going to solve my problem very nicely indeed!
