Hi there, I'm working on an item that avatars can hold with both hands and everything is working fine, until I started encountering avatars of wildly different sizes. There would be a huge gap between the item and the left hand, so I made it so people could change their pose based on the avatar shoulder size and that works, but then I remembered body thickness, ugh a new set of variables.

So I was wondering how many size variations do people usually take into account when doing this such thing. I mean I have 5 so far that work for 0~25, 25~50, 50~70, 70~100, 70~100 Male. just based on shoulders

Just looking for input Thanks

Lyndz

Oh, I wouldn't bother with this - having all kinds of different versions will only confuse people.

No, just let people shift the item themselves - I've seen such problems with nearly everything I ever bought. It's just impossible to predict all shapes. I'm making romantic poses right now, and just putting your arms around another avi is proving to be a headache - either the arms go through the back, or they end up floating in the air.
