Help please - Animation override for shoes

I am having some difficulty getting custom animations to play with some shoes I have made. I have the Wet Icon Animation Overrider, but that is so much more complicated for what I really need. Also, I am not very good at reverse engineering such a complicated script.

In the shoes I have only two animations, one for standing and one for walking. Surely there is a very simple script available somewhere that will allow me to add only these two animations to my shoes.

If one is a scripter I am also open to the idea of paying for a script that will do what I have described.

I am trying to get a walk animation to overide the default one also. I read above that you have the animations "in" the shoes. How do you put them in the shoes? I'm a complete newb at this and need some help too.
